We are looking for expressions of interests from people looking to work in the pest management industry:

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Respond and assess pest management options
  • Modify environment to manage pests
  • Apply safe chemical pesticide to manage pests
  • Implement a pest management plan and advise client on best practice options
  • Repair and maintain equipment and chemical storage
  • Inspect,control, monitor and report on timber pests and termites
  • Install physical termite barriers
  • Maintain and submit required paperwork for timber pests and termites
  • Participate in special project work i.e. Feral vertebrate, bird management, snake handling, offshore vessels
  • Occasionally undertake other client services such as meter reading, Weed control and bushland/mine site rehabilitation

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 years + pest control experience in both commercial and domestic environments
  • Current pest control licence (with timber pest and termite endorsements)
  • Cert III in Pest Management or a minimum completion of units 5,6,18 and 8 & 10
  • Current driver’s licence (open/manual)
  • General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Capacity to provide a Federal Police Check
  • Must have the right to work in Australia
  • Capacity to undertake pre-employment Medical assessment for client specific purposes
  • An understanding and demonstrated commitment to OH&S, risk management and hazard identification

  • Boom spraying
